lyrics
I opened my mouth to let the stream run in
Still water is what I want
But the circle is messed up
It took me many years to realise that I was
Running into devil’s
Running into devil’s
Running into devil’s stomach
Did it for my pleasure, did it so I live
Did it for my pleasure, did it so I live
Irresistible acid that melts my skin
Running into devil’s
Running into devil’s
Running into devil’s stomach
Did it for my pleasure, did it so I live
Did it for my pleasure, did it so I live
Distorted my pleasure so I desire to live
Roots of a dead tree
Roots of a dead tree
Roots of a dead tree
Roots of the tree protect their hearts
I was running into devil’s
Running into devil’s
Running into devil’s stomach
Did it for my pleasure, did it so I live
Did it for my pleasure, did it so I live
Irresistible acid that melts my skin
Running into devil’s
Running into devil’s
Running into devil’s stomach
Did it for my pleasure, did it so I live
Did it for my pleasure, did it so I live
Distorted my pleasure so I desire to live

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
